Aggressive,alarmist proselytizing by heretics has long been a source of concern for the faithful.

One of their screeds pushed through doors in the  Enniskillen area bases itself on the notion that Trappist monks are prisoners of the Church and cannot leave their monasteries. This type of divisive preacher claims that one must ‘be born again’.

Doctrine?

 Saint Paul teaches  different,namely that there is one baptism for the remission of sins and the New Testament teaches that Jesus came for all to be saved.

These distortions are the work of The Great Deceiver who seeks to lead vulnerable people away from the True Church.

False prophets prey on the vulnerable.

These vultures leave Orange screeds at the back of Catholic churches. Their nuisance interest is demonstrated by the narrow historicism of the celebration of William of Orange. This particular type of Orange screed ignores the suffering of many countries due to the financial pressures unleashed by the country whose middle class chose William of Orange in opposition to the Stewarts. Sectarian nuts of this type claim that ‘the Stewarts were a bad bunch’. Pushing out the boat by propagandists of this type is always fractious, disagreeable and divisive. Many Catholics resorted to force against armed Orangemen and British Loyalists in the recent past because of this religious intolerance.

Fungus and leukaemia and Alzheimer's are linked, it must be stated.

Fungus is a bacteria, a self-sustaining growth that sometimes never disappears.

Leukaemia manifests itself in rapid weight changes, fatigue and perspiration in the night. Anxiety and depression are linked to this illness.

Alzheimers is an illness – sometimes, research indicates, caused by anti-psychotics, sometimes kept at bay by same.

If doctors carried out basic general observations and listened to their patients, these problems would have long been cured.

Doctors should learn that (a)myeloid plaque is the common cause of leukaemia and Alzheimer's.

Prayer, Contemplation, Psychological recovery and Metaphysics (24.8.2014)

The belief in the overreaching power of prayer is based on the philosophy of metaphysics. The Church believes that goodwill in prayer for others and good intentions e.g. for peace is transmuted through God to others and their well-being is strengthened and their interests protected and cherished.

Prayer builds up mental resources, enables us to recover from psychological trauma, suffering and loss and recuperates us in moral strength.

Moral consistency or spiritual strength is not an instant solution to psychological suffering, oppression and the injury done by evil men in terrorist groups or self-financed bodies of violent, armed men. It does, however, over a long period of regular church attendance,religious devotion and constant prayer, lead to significant psychological improvement for those written off as psychiatric cannon-fodder at the behest of the doctors.

Fasting and charity copper-fasten mental medicine. Christian social etiquette must always be based on giving. The Protestant churches do not pay attention to the Letter of James about faith in God and good works as the centrepiece of their ideas. The Presbyterians are particularly unsympathetic to others and reduce everything to the legal contractual nexus.

Jesus in the Gospels makes it clear that charity is essential to the Christian belief system.

Call it a rosary prayer,a chakra,a mantra,a recitation of verses of the Koran or an om in Buddhism,ritual prayer sets the mind to rest when carried on  over a long period.

Similarly, prayer,ritual prayer,expiates guilt,fear of failure and the spectre of moral sickness and death.

The Christian faith keeps evil spirits and the Beast,the Prince of this World,in his lonely eyrie well away from doing harm and bringing about chaos or a demonic state of mind or spiritual and moral death. The Devil's  followers are those who idolise Mammon.

How to pray?

Jesus says,"Go into your room and pray in private because God who sees everything, sees you and will reward you...."

Jesus's  prayer is The Our Father and he elliterates it in the Gospels.

But,the cribber says,"Did Jesus not go into the Synagogue at Nazareth and take down The Book of The Law and begin to read from Isaiah....and visit the Temple at the Feast of The Passover...and do not the disciples such as St. Paul regularly visit synagogues to preach after his Ascension...."

Yes, but if you do not want to be "taken up to the precipice above the town and thrown off because they were so enraged", take Jesus's advice and if you must go into a church, honour what he said... namely do it on your own and pray on your own....

The Hail Mary? Why?

Because as the Mother of God,she has the ear of him who will sit to judge the living and the dead at the end of time.

Therefore,pray the Our Father and the Hail Mary for balance and to conquer evil, particularly the evil represented by war, terror and violence.

Is one faith better than the other?

Remember in your prayers the suffering souls who have not yet come to judgement.

The fool who equates man with God,the Arian heresy,says,"You are judged twice,once in this life and once in the afterlife."

The fool fears retribution. Take a cue from St. Paul,"Tell the truth and you shall have no problem with the Law i.e. secular authority".

And if St. Paul said it,allowing for the frailties of all men and the imperfections of saints,it must be good advice for those before the courts.

It is clear that truth can only be saved by virtue and the expungement of the Freudian-induced psychosis and paraphrenia from our society. 

Speak up in prayer, articulate your phrases properly and don't counsel or procure acknowledgement for those who are anti-Christian heretics such as doctors and medical and nursing demons.

A murder worthy of remembrance (20.12.12)

In Reformation thinking and reformed congregations,there are many splitters, waverers and people of fissiparous

intentions.

Since there are always tensions between rich and poor-Calvin was rich,a lawyer, and his listeners were poor tradesmen-is it wise to give ear to tales of Injustice Manifest,and a characterisation of this Reformer as an anti-Christ?

Because there were no persons other than schismatics in the environs of Geneva,it is sounder thinking to imagine,as this author does now,that Presbyterians are a steady sort of person not given to extremes and that this take of 'murder most foul' is misleading.

It is more informed and liberal to conclude that there were people in the community at the time who contrived these stories,-some of whom may have owed Calvin money or "stolen from the alms bag" -and to discount these claims.

As in my exam missal to Barry Malcolm in 1985,"Every legal case depends on its merits..."

Tales of clerical mischief?
