A good party gone to the bad,Fianna Fail?

Let it be remembered that De Valera though an Irish Irelander was a friend of the poor and the working class. His party steered an unswerving course between employer and labourer,Catholic and Protestant,Jew and Gentile, rich and poor.

GO AND SEE the magnificent inner suburbs of Dublin stretching out to Ashbourne, Tallaght and Dun Laoghaire, wonderful family homes built by Fianna Fail governments.

...

Fianna Fail?

A SOLID RECORD OF ACHIEVEMENT!

The outcome of embracing national democracy and voting Fianna Fail consistently for the working poor since 1932?

AN IRELAND REBORN, RENEWED AND REVIVED after a millennium of despair and clericalist torpor. The Irish casus deligendi was of the brutalised men and  women in subsistence farming in rural Ireland but even a thick, ignorant countryman has to wise up about fairies and "the little people",real and figurative.

...

The Irish society created by Fianna Fail?

Indicative of "a light to the nations",both it,its people and its happy, bright-faced, intelligent, friendly, mannerly, normal, well-balanced children  Go to our beautiful churches for the proof on any Sunday.

...

...

1932?2022?

Our problems today are as nothing compared to those De Valera faced in 1932..

LET ERIN REMEMBER.LET ERIN REMEMBER.

Contraindications

Drunken nationalist wasters and the Irish Army space cadets started the Northern Imbroglio fifty years ago. Acneed louts such as Gerry Adams, an imposter who posed for Barbara Streisand at one time was primarily responsible for the current unstable peace. He refused like all Sinn Fein "comedians" to put a round peg in a round hole and a square peg in a square hole. Adams' fans were Dublin street urchins and unemployed actors and showmen. Those scum acted in the style of the ex-British Army soldiery, Dublin members of SIPTU,Donagh remaindered book holders and  the learning disabled.

Disturbing recent developments

A label often put on intelligent people by those such as Fianna Fail?

Petite bourgeois socialists.

...

The contemporary Irish Irelanders are the Sinn Fein party and the Green Party.

....

In 1958,the Fianna Fail party took the modern path of small and large business development. They actively encouraged American investment in Ireland.

....

The Green Party in the Dail? Eco-socialism?

The Road to Ruin!

The Green Party are 'retread Trotskyites', people who once moved in radical socialist circles. The born-again Episcopalians, the disenchanted and Green Tories of the 'left' now form the prescient new majority in the South.

...

Their doctrines?

All bunkum..

...

For the future, look to America,North and South... DEMOCRACY HAS COME TO THE USA and Irish Democracy will revive.

The alternative

Sinn Fein?

 Don't make me laugh!

Their motto:Two legs good, four legs bad. A rough ignorant 'party' of dossers and gossiping layabouts,tax-dodgers and those in hock to the taxman with no intention of paying their debt.

The heart of the matter?

Only Fianna Fail can put bread on the table of working people.

....

"Are you getting the drinks?"

 Elections in modern Ireland?

Sinn Fein politicians buy you a drink every four years in return for your vote, something they learnt from the British Conservative Party at the Preston by-election of 1856 as noted by Karl Marx in his journalistic endeavours.

Sinn Fein?

People with no experience of the real world, dolemen, taxi drivers and welfare spongers who never paid in in the first place.

 Down South

The alternative to Fianna Fail?Fine Gael and independents?

Fine Gael doctors hand you a packet of pills every two weeks.

Fianna Fail

Its future?

Fianna Fail has to move its political leadership back to Dublin.

The worst kind of Blueshirt is a member of Fianna Fail in a leading position in government not excepting that particularly useless sort of bitch,a Sinn Feiner who can't keep her knickers on. The hi-jack party, Sinn Fein, seems to have dumped most of the informers firstly into the lap of Republican Sinn Fein in the South and,in North Belfast lately, persuaded them to make common cause with the wretched Alliance Party.

Me,my party allegiance?

I have never been a member of any party or candidate member, other than a revolutionary democratic party or democratic socialist party.

....

My advice?

Moderation in all things and never put your fate in the hands of a woman,as my august father used to say to me.

The South needed Fianna Fail to lead national renewal at every stage and make the hard choices between labour and capital that had to be made. The did so without the lickspittles of Fine Gael.

The republicans were involved in bringing the South out of its centuries-old slumber in the arms of Mother Church but radicals and democrats were cooperative too.

The key political consequence of the revival of the industrial movement was the tax marches of the 1970's. Those marches removed the initiative from big farmers and placed the ball firmly at the feet of urban businessman and town dweller.

The future is a lot brighter than the past but even the new rich risk suffering from the withdrawal of US investment and the coming global retrenchment.

The loss of large swathes of labour-intensive,low surplus value manufacturing has already hit Limerick and if we cannot keep agri-food manufacturing such as infant milk supplement,we risk losing the industrial cohesion of town and country.

Changing terms of trade and cheap untrained labour threaten to unseat the indigenous Irish blue collar worker from his traditional high stool.

......

.....

But always remember,

"Whatever good there might be in a Fianna Fail -er, there's none in a Fine Gael-er."
